41. The nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me.

So many people have said incredibly touching things to me, but I believe the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me is that I matter to them—that my existence brings them happiness, and that they love me for who I am. Being accepted, appreciated, and loved is all anyone really needs. Love—whether it is romantic, friendship, unconditional, and/or security love—is the nicest thing a person can give and receive.
